Technology is very essential for the growth of children to keep them in tune with the times and help them to gain new knowledge from the world. I will love to avail the huge resource the internet provides to bring in more information about the English language. Showing video clips of stories and dramas to students who are visually receptive, will help them grasp the concept better. Audio clips of poetry recitations help the students to improve their listening skills, pronunciation and mastery over the language. Power point presentations through sideshows make the teacher’s presentation much more organized and interesting for the students.
I use technology even beyond the classroom I encourage students to write anything they want to express in my classroom blog. This will give them the power to express their feelings freely in English. I also give study materials in the blog to help the students to learn better. I encourage my students to read English classics through E Books. This will improve their reading habits without any expenditure. So technology can be integrated in the classroom through E –learning.
