Grade 2D had the audience spell bound as they performed the Role
Play of THE LOST GULL at the school assembly today.
Atharv the narrator conducted the show beautifully with his strong
narration.
The sound effects team - Abhijato and Arsh gave a memorable
performance of mimicking the sound of splashing waves, barking of a dog and
squawking of seagulls!
Achuthan, Karan, Charan and Harish created the waves, as they
rhythmically swished and swashed the white streak of cloth representing the
waves of the sea - the setting for the show!
Sravan and Niyathee, the two children in the play, attracted
everyone's attention with their witty dialogues and antics as they frolicked in
the beach (the setting of the stage). Niha, who played their mother, gave a
notable performance too!
Hryday had the spectators rooted to the ground as he made his
appearance as a fearsome dog chasing the children!
The seagulls- Navya, Keertana, Shraavya and Shriya, elegantly
danced on the stage in their white frocks in perfect harmony creating a
wonderful visual representation of seagulls flocking the beach. It had such a
soothing effect on the viewers that everyone was mesmerized!
The show captured
everyone’s imagination and concluded with a powerful
message – An animal in need is a friend indeed!
It's a seagull!
It's sick! Let's take it home! Mother will know what to do!
